Chris is a social impact and circular economy leader, who has worked across the NGO and business sectors for almost two decades.
Prior to joining Purchasing with Purpose, Chris led eBay’s circular innovation and impact team, focusing on the role of e-commerce in empowering economic opportunity across under-served communities, as well as how recommerce can support the transition towards a circular economy. Prior to joining eBay in 2020, Chris spent several years on issues surrounding education and skills development in Ghana, India and South Africa. He then transitioned into working more closely on how business can drive social impact, spending time at Marks & Spencer and Ben & Jerry’s where he led their social mission strategy in Europe for 6 years, focusing on refugee and asylum rights.
Chris is an alumni of The University of Cambridge Institute of Sustainable Leadership, has a BA in Geography from The University of Manchester and a Masters in International Business and Development from The University of London.

Jared Lewis is a strategic leader operating at the intersection of law, emerging technology, and social enterprise. With over a decade of experience spanning Capitol Hill, global corporate environments, and the nonprofit sector, Jared excels at translating complex regulatory constraints into actionable growth and impact strategies.
Jared holds a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law, where he completed a concentration in International and Comparative Law. His legal expertise is further bolstered by a certificate in International Law from the Center for Transnational Legal Studies (Georgetown University at King’s College London). He served as an AI Law & Policy Fellow at the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office and an AI Policy Advisor for the NYU Brennan Center for Justice, where he developed ethical governance frameworks and researched the civic impacts of AI integration.
Jared’s background as an intrapreneur is defined by his ability to build scalable systems within large organizations:
As a Partner at Kofa Policy Group, Jared continues to champion social enterprise by developing data-driven tools and social impact initiatives in collaboration with social enterprise organizations.
Jared supported the development of Purchasing with Purpose’s decision-making framework designed to help organizations strategically shift 3% of their spend toward social procurement. His work focuses on creating earned revenue programs that operationalize the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and drive measurable impact in local and global communities.
In addition to his JD, Jared holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago and a BA from George Washington University. He is a frequent speaker on the digital age and strategic opportunities for emerging markets, committed to building a future where technology and policy drive the “people and planet first” business ecosystem toward measurable transformation and serve the public interest.
