Purchasing with Purpose welcomes enterprises that prioritize people and the planet, strengthen local economies, and offer products or services in the United States. It is free to be included.

Purchasing with Purpose uses shared software infrastructure from the Good Market digital commons to minimize costs and increase opportunities for participating enterprises and partners.
Participants are able to submit a single online application to access multiple benefits: a free public profile, low-cost verifications like People and Planet First, listings in network marketplaces, integrations with other software platforms, and more.
If you would like to be included in the Purchasing with Purpose directory and community marketplace, submit an application to create your free profile and select Purchasing with Purpose at the end of the form.
Once your profile is published, you can add listings to the digital commons. Everything you add will automatically appear in the Purchasing with Purpose community marketplace. If you are part of a place-based purchasing initiative, it will appear in your local marketplace as well. All types of listings are welcome.

Enterprises that are People and Planet First Verified have access to procurement opportunities from institutional buyers and other benefits.
This low-cost verification recognizes enterprises that exist to solve a social or environmental problem, prioritize people and planet in their operations, have a self-sustaining revenue model, reinvest the majority of their surplus towards their purpose, and have a structure to protect their purpose over time.
It was developed to complement existing certifications and bridge across traditional divides.
